24+ Direct Access

Completing the practical test on a 595cc motorbike will allow you to ride on any sized motorbike.

If you are aged 24 or over and and do not have a full A1 or full A2 licence you will have to have a valid Compulsory Basic Training course (CBT) certificate and obtain a current motorcycle theory certificate, you can take the two part practical test on a bike of at least 595 cc and at least 40kw

If you are aged 24 or over and have held an A2 licence for MORE than 2 years, you can take the two part practical test on a bike of at least 595 cc and at least 40kw.

If you are aged 24 or over and have held an A2 licence for LESS than 2 years, once you have a current motorcycle theory certificate, you can take the two part practical test on a bike of at least 595 cc and at least 40kw

If you are aged 24 or over and have a full A1 licence, once you have a current motorcycle theory certificate, you can take the two part practical test on a bike of at least 595 cc and at least 40kw

If you are aged 21-23 and have held an A2 licence for MORE than 2 years, you can take the two part practical test on a bike of at least 595 cc and at least 40kw.

You can now ride any size of Motorcycle, and carry a pillion.
